Profile Information

About Me:
Im 27 years old. Been married to my best friend for 7 years now and we have a beautiful 19 month old baby girl.
About my Loss:
April 17, 2011 is a day I will never forget. It was the last time I spoke to my mom. I went to her house the next night because I couldn't get a hold of her- We talked several times a day so not being able to reach her got me worried. When I arrived to her house all of her belongings were there including her car, but she nor her husband were anywhere to be found. July 21, 2011 their remains were found in a wooded area far from their home. They had been shot in the head. As of now there have been no suspects listed and no arrests made.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
