I'm 55 years old born and raised in Chicago. At 18 I moved to Wisconsin, I live 1 mile from the WI River in what is known as the Driftless Area. I'm the second oldest of 9 kids 6 girls, and 3 boys. I was raised catholic but it did not seem to be a good fit for me. After studying other religions I became Wicca. I'm a solitary Earth based practitioner. I was married for 10 years to an abusive man. Two years ago I met a beautiful soul, and we have lived together for the past year. I thank the Gods, and Goddesses everyday for bringing him into my life, without him I would have grown old and, lonely. I hope everyone has someone in their life to love, and be loved by. I have no kids but I do have a beautiful god-daughter, and she truly is a gift from god. My father, and step-father are deceased. In 2012 I became disabled due to a work accident. Everyday I suffer from chronic pain, depression, and R.S.D..
About my Loss:
I found out my mom has stage 4 brain cancer about 2 weeks ago. Since then I have been in shock, denial, and disbelief.

I try to not highlight the things I don't really like about me. I try to focus on the positive things I know I am. But, I spend too much time with…See More
I'm not sure if I am grieving in a positive and healthy way. All I really know for sure is that I miss my family, ...especially my sister, Melissa. Melissa had a way of making me feel important, needed, loved, cared for, special, and she had a way of lighting up a room. I am having difficulty with life in general without her. The world seems so much smaller and darker since she passed. Not near as light-hearted or inviting as before. My sister taught me to be more accepting of people who are…See More
