About my Loss:
I lost my husband of 6 1/2 years on January 20, 2010. We have been together for the last 8 years. Fernando was everything to me. He has been gone now for almost 2 years and I decided that I was going to reclaim my life this year. 2010 was spent in a complete fog of grieving and self pitty. When the year anniversary of his passing came along I deciced that I was done grieving and no longer wanted to be sand any more. There are moments when I do miss him and I think about him daily. I will always love Fernando. I guess you could say that my love for him has changed.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
