Gregg, your partner didn't know how much you would hurt and it probably is a good thing because it would have made his own journey to the door harder. I know, my husband died of cancer and none of our lovers want us to hurt. I don't know what a friendship circle is although I can guess being Native American it is something helpful. I would encourage you to find a friend to talk to. I have a friend I talk to every day and it does help to be able to create a connection that will go throughout the next year or two with you listening.
