About Me:
My name is Emma. I’m 19 years old. I love drawing, dogs, and video games. I’m kinda bad with talking, normally I tend to either bottle things up without knowing how to let it out, or I immediately dump a bunch of emotional baggage on people which in return makes me very scared to talk in fear that I’ll drive my friends away with my emotional dumps.
About my Loss:
I lost my dad at the age of 10. It was extremely unexpected and traumatic, especially since I walked in to find him unalive. My Omi (his mum) was the one who was with me when this happened. She was my rock for next 8 years until she randomly got pneumonia and died 3 months later. I don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve lost two of the most important people in my life and I just don’t know where to turn to.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
