Profile Information

About Me:
I'm 63 years old and was married to my James 3 years, 11 months. We have known each other since middle school but were together after a 40 year separation for 2155 days
About my Loss:
I lost my James January 5, 2018. He was a truck driver, based out of Texas, delivering a load to California. Our routine was always to speak to each other every evening, ending with I love you and first thing in the morning to say, I love you and have a wonderful day.

I thank God that he allowed James to get to his final drop off destination before climbing into the back of his beloved tractor trailer and taking his last breath. I thank God that he didn't pass out while driving.

James was/is the love of my life. We were so connected with each other. He showed me how a man is supposed to treat a woman. He treated me like a queen and he was my king.

The pain is so unbearable

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
