That isn't qutie right. I know some people do care, and they care very much. But they are so few and far between that it feels as if I'm all alone. My husband, son and I are in Alaska while our family is in Alabama. Jameys permanent bed is in Alabama. If I go back, I know that I will lay down next to him and never get up again. And why should I? My 2 sons are grown men. My grandbabies all have loving families who will take care of them. I could make videos of myelf so that they would know who I am. They see me on Skype already. I am working all this  out in my head because this pain is just so much more than I can handle. That BS about god not putting more on me that I can carry is just that...BS! After Jamey was gone, I told ever single mother never try to imagine what I was going through. I've constantly told mothers to always hug their children and tell them they love them, even if they were adults. Never ever NOT tell your children you love them. I was able to tell Jamey that before his wreck. I hope he heard it as I repeated it over and over to him as he lay on that hospital bed. Maybe it's time to tell them what happened up there in that room. I hate hospitals and hospital rooms, and hospital exam rooms, and the hospital smells and the hospital sounds, and the hospital people. I saved a piece of bark from the tree that his truck hit. I would cut down the tree if the owner would let me and I would turn it into a chest for all of Jameys keepsakes. Then I could give it to his kids when they were old enough to understand and appreciate it.

I'm so sorry if I offended you or angered you with my views and words.   They aren't for everyone, because our pain is personal, as is our anger.  I do not believe any of the anger or pain is misplaced.  Our pain can't be measured, nor can our beliefs or anger be in any way wrong for those who feel it.  I hope you will forgive me for that.  I didn't mean to throw out something that would make you angrier or more pained!

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
