Thank you. It's the same butterfly she had on her stomach. She had a 20 year old's tummy so I decided to put it on my wrist.

I am putting alot of that into the first tattoo Im planning to get because I want it to represent how deep and eternal are love is. And at the same time I just want to hurry and get his name on me anywhere because it will be comforting.

Felicia -

My husband died last November and I think I got my tattoo in May or June - isn't it strange how I can't really remember?  Anyway, I think it's entirely up to you how long you wait.  You don't have to wait a specified amount of time.  It just took me that long to get to where I was able to think about it and make a decision.  I'm sorry for the loss of your sister.

Got my tatoo this weekend says "Blessed be My Rock" at the top. I am so glad I got this finished. the artist created the cross yrs ago he just freshed it up and added the dates and the wording. with the bonus of a butterfly to symbolize she is now with the Lord. Miss you lots Grandma you were definately my rock!...

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
