if im even writing this in the right spot or what im doing. In technical terms biologically she wasnt family i guess but to us she was.  She was my brothers girlfriend and i really liked her. She was always so kind, caring about others.  Sadly on Nov 30 2008 she was so brutally taken from us.  Her story was aired all over the news at the time and a part of me i dont know, i kind of blame the police some fof what happened to her even though they werent directly involved. On Nov 30 2008 a man was stopped by police earlier in the evening for a crash that took place. They suspected him but for whatever reason they sent him on his way.  My brothers girlfriend went home that night from work and after arriving home she lit a candle like she always did to relax.  That same man hours later broke into her home. He took her from us that night with police etc outside her door. They never got to her in time.  Her 911 call was the last time wed hear her voice  :(   Why?  why did they let him go? Why did it have to happen to her?.   I miss her alot

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
