I lost my mom a few days ago and I missed her every second. Everytime I go to bed, I wish that my mom will be here again when I wake up. But every day I wake up with tears, remembering that my mom has gone. We were very close and we have never been apart for more than a week. I feel miserable and every thing that I do reminds me of her. She has just retired and I was planning to do a lot of things with her. My mom was so hard-working and every thing she did she put our family first. She was my hero. I miss her so so so much.

Christy: my mom passed away December 17 . 2015 . in the hospital. I miss my mom more than ever.
Every minute of the day. We too were very close. I'm trying to keep myself busy but all the memories are still in the house. I'm so sorry for your lost I will be praying for you . they say it gets better and it does a little I cry inside and out . I loved my mom so much. But I know she's in heaven and I will see her again..

I am sorry for your loss, I feel your pain.

I went through the same after my mom passed, everyday waking up and looking out in the kitchen and she wasn't sitting there drinking coffee, it was like a slap in the face the minute you woke up. Honestly, it lasted for months. My mom has been gone for about a year and a half now,
I've moved to a new house that I bought about 4 months later. It gets better. I still cry, everyday sometimes a tear or two and sometimes for longer. I do get through my days though. Be strong and remember all the good you can and block out the bad, the end.

Christy

I am sorry for your loss, I too wake up with tears, even though this month will be 8 months since my mom passed.

I try talk myself out of my sadness.

People say with time it gets better, but not so much, you just realize that you have to learn to live without your mom here on this earth.

It doesn't mean she will not follow you all the days of your life........

Keep your faith, that is what has gotten me through so far.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More

Sibling Loss

This group is for anyone that has lost a brother or sister. Sibling loss is often minimized and people don't realize how devastating losing a sibling can be. I lost my older sister and my life will never be the same. She was my only sibling, I looked up to her, I went to her for everything. I lost my past, present and future. It is traumatic.See More

Triggers Continue to Surface

Late February is a challenging time of year for me.  Jen’s birthday is the 23rd and serves as an annual reminder of all of the potential that was lost…Her’s (mainly), mine, the world’s honestly.  This year she would be 52…It is increasingly hard to imagine, through all of the iterations possible, what she could have become, what was to be her (significant) impact on the world. That being said, things, emotions, have largely settled down since I committed a potential version of what could have…See More
