I know how difficult it can be.  I found it helpful to post pictures and just talk  to others.  You can join the group http://www.onlinegriefsupport.com/group/ilovemydad There you can share with others that have had the same loss.  I wish you well on your journey.  (((((hugs)))))

Hi I lost my Dad on April 18th.  It was very sudden, my heart is broken forever.
I know exactly how you feel.  We just have to think of all the good times.  Keep all your memories close in your mind.

I miss my dad too.  He died a week ago tonight, and I'm just lost in a terrable dark cold sea.  Today I went to work, even though I didn't want too.  I cook at a school, and today we searved what I was going to make my dad the day I went to pick him up for lunch, and found him dead in his bed.  It was aweful to realize.

I guess some thoughts are that if you try to help others, you will find yourself helped.  Maybe you can go share what you have of hope, and your experiences, so others may also find comfort, and you as well.  Get outside yourself, if you can.  ((big hug))

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
