I'd like to start a group, it would be called: Losing Our Soulmates Trough Tragedy, and it would be for those of us who were capable of meeting our soulmates, and who have lost those sacred loved ones through tragedy (i.e. I actually lost my soulmate in a senseless car accident caused when the lady driving our vehicle chose to text her daughter, and she lost control of the Acura, which rolled off the highway.)

I've been looking, on a regular basis over the last 3 years, for a website with support for those of us who have lost our soulmates through tragedy, and I've been unsuccessful in finding one. Plus, there's not one site for people who are not exactly young or old, but have lost their spouses at an age when their lives are starting a new phase. Thing is, I'm 44, when I lost my husband, I was 40 years and 8 months old, I thought there would be sites that specifically focused on these topics (because let's face it, you can find anything online), yet, there are none.

If I had a million dollars, I'd make different grieving sites which focus on those subjects, and I'd make sure every one was allowed full access to them, no matter the amount of money they did or did not have.

Sibling Loss

This group is for anyone that has lost a brother or sister. Sibling loss is often minimized and people don't realize how devastating losing a sibling can be. I lost my older sister and my life will never be the same. She was my only sibling, I looked up to her, I went to her for everything. I lost my past, present and future. It is traumatic.See More

Triggers Continue to Surface

Late February is a challenging time of year for me.  Jen’s birthday is the 23rd and serves as an annual reminder of all of the potential that was lost…Her’s (mainly), mine, the world’s honestly.  This year she would be 52…It is increasingly hard to imagine, through all of the iterations possible, what she could have become, what was to be her (significant) impact on the world. That being said, things, emotions, have largely settled down since I committed a potential version of what could have…See More
