My Husband has been gone for 4 years, when I go home to visit family they seem to care less about how I am feeling, not one single person asks how I am doing. They think I am just fine, little do they how much I am still suffering with losing my wonderful Julian. I hate going each year, all I am is their gardener, babysitter, and house maid. I am fed up with this. It will be my last year visiting. I live in Florida and the family is in Michigan.

If I were you I would change plans and go somewhere that you and he loved to be together. You are not obligated to do anything you not choose to do. I am finding inner peace doing this. No need to "put on airs".

Just be as peaceful as you can be and avoid the drama.

Jean,

Thanks for your reply, I made the commitment for this year, but it will be my last one. Again, thanks for your thoughts on this.
